Pepper and Salt

Siam ran away from home, frustrated by his father’s decision to bring another woman into their house just days after his mother’s passing. Meanwhile, Jeed, a woman who finds relief from stress by driving fast, suddenly finds herself stranded when her car breaks down. By chance, Siam is nearby and offers to fix her car.

Grateful for his help, Jeed invites Siam to have dinner with her family. However, their evening takes a dangerous turn when robbers break into Jeed’s house. Without hesitation, Siam steps in to protect them and gets shot in the process.

Moved by his bravery, Jeed’s family offers Siam a job as both a gardener and a mechanic for their family’s car business. Over time, Siam becomes Jeed’s confidant, the one she trusts to share her worries with. As they grow closer, love slowly begins to blossom between the two.

This drama is the third adaptation of the beloved novel Chilly and Salt, which was previously made into a film in 2000 and a drama in 2012. Due to the story’s enduring popularity, a new adaptation was released in 2021.
