Liam Neeson teams up once again with director Robert Lorenz in this film, following their previous collaboration on The Protector. The movie is packed with thrilling action scenes, showcasing Neeson's enduring versatility even at his age. He portrays a character named Finbar Murphy.

Finbar Murphy (Liam Neeson) is a former soldier who has just completed his service in World War II. He left his dark past behind, and moved to a quiet new place, in the remote coastal town of Glencolmcille. In the town, he began to blend in well with the residents.

However, his comfortable life is short-lived when a group of terrorists, led by a ruthless woman named Doirean (Kerry Condon), arrives and unsettles the whole town. Determined to protect his home and keep it free from danger, the middle-aged Finbar decides to fight back while carefully concealing his true identity.

This film stars Liam Neeson and is the third remake of the 2015 Spanish film "El desconocido." It follows earlier versions from Germany titled "Don't. Get. Out!" An explosion occurs in a diamond mine in Manitoba, northern Canada, trapping 26 miners. The news spreads rapidly, drawing many volunteers eager to assist in the evacuation, including Mike McCann (Liam Neeson) and his brother Gurty (Marcus Thomas), who suffers from PTSD.

To shorten the travel time, the rescue team decides to take a risky shortcut across a frozen sea, unaware that the ice is starting to melt. However, those who were already deep in the sea decided to cross anyway.

A series of catastrophic events unfolds; begin with the sinking of a truck due to broken ice, to the betrayal of one of the company's 'messengers' named Tom (Benjamin Walker) who does not want to help the miners for insurance reasons.
